The humanities, as a set of sciences that deal with the understanding of "man" and the description, explanation and interpretation of his individual and social states, circumstances and actions and their effects, deserve a lot of attention because they lead to the orientation of human actions and passions. However, since the West is the main origin of these sciences, the risk of their non-compliance with the teachings of Islam and negative effects on Islamic culture is serious. The field of Islamization of the humanities is a field for adapting the foundations, goals and sources of these sciences to Islam and reproducing them based on the Islamic worldview so that they are consistent with the culture, civilization and needs of the Islamic society. The main goal of this scientific research is to create an epistemological system so that these sciences are based on the Quran, tradition, reason and experience instead of relying on secular and liberal Western foundations. Now the question arises: what method should be used to refer to authentic Islamic sources and to correctly infer and present the Islamic view, and is it necessary to use the method of ijtihad for this? The preceding article uses an analytical method to find a scientific answer to this question, and through the necessary examination, analysis, and explanation, it is necessary to prove the use of the method of ijtihad in this field.
