The cognitive dimension is one of the fundamental aspects of human existence, playing a significant role in shaping behavior. One of the human actions influenced by consciousness is marriage and childbearing. Innate human insight has a direct impact in this regard. Alongside financial considerations, one of the most influential factors in birth rates is the individual's worldview. This raises the question: What is the relationship between human cognition and the desire for childbearing? Does it have a negative effect, acting as a barrier to population growth, or does it exert a positive influence, encouraging an increase in childbearing? The aim of this research is to enhance public understanding of the Qur’anic perspective and promote a sound worldview in order to encourage childbearing. Using a documentary study method and a descriptive-analytical-interpretive processing method, this article examines the relationship between the visionary dimension and the desire to have children in the Quran. The findings of the study indicate that, according to the Qur’anic perspective, human beings innately recognize God as the Creator, Owner, Sustainer, and Provider. A weakness in this insight often serves as a pretext for avoiding marriage, remaining childless, or limiting oneself to a single child. The inherent repulsion toward murder in human nature reflects a broader aversion to population decline. The act of killing children—driven by ignorance and baseless fears such as poverty—is condemned in the Qur’an. Strengthening human insight plays a significant role in preventing such acts, including abortion. The continuation of human life on Earth depends on sound marriage and childbearing practices. Behaviors such as same-sex relations and adopting animals in place of children contradict both reason and religious teachings.
