Facing the crisis of social sciences, Schutz chose the central concept of late Husserl, i.e. lifeworld, as his starting point. By reformulating Husserl's phenomenology and moving from transcendental phenomenology to empirical and mundane phenomenology, he considered lifeworld as a given in everyday life and made it the reference framework for interpreting meaning and understanding action. By enriching Weber's concept of "action" through developing the concept of "project", he tried to provide the ground for the transition from a single conscious actor to an actor who acts in society and lifeworld. The result of these actions is presenting an interpretation of "meaning" and "action" that is different from the interpretation of cognitive theories of action. Schutz made the awareness of the actor his starting point and addressed the issues that are characteristic of the theory of action, but he considered action as embedded in its cultural environment and gave great importance to cultural plans in the definition of action. Using the descriptive-analytical method, this research tries to describe, explain and criticize this issue.

Abstract:
شوتز در مواجهه با بحران علوم اجتماعی، مفهوم کانونی هوسرل متأخر؛ یعنی «زیست‌جهان» را مبدأ عزیمت خود قرار داد. او با صورت‌بندی مجدد پدیدارشناسی هوسرل و گذر از پدیدارشناسی استعلایی به پدیدارشناسی تجربی و دنیوی، زیست‌جهان را به‌مثابه امر داده‌شده در زندگی روزمره فرض کرد و آن را چارچوب مرجع تفسیر معنا و فهم کنش قرار داد. در این زمینه کوشید با غنی‌سازی مفهوم «کنش» وبر از طریق اختراع مفهوم «طرح» (project) زمینه انتقال از کنشگر آگاه تکین به کنشگری را که در جامعه و در بستر زیست‌جهان اقدام به کنش می‌کند، فراهم سازد. برایند این اقدامات، ارائه تفسیری متفاوت از «معنا» و «کنش» از تفسیر نظریات شناختی کنش است. شوتز با آنکه آگاهی کنشگر را نقطه عزیمت خود قرار داده و به مسائلی که مشخصه نظریه کنش است، پرداخته، اما کنش را تعبیه‌شده در محیط فرهنگی آن در نظر گرفته و به نقشه‌ها و طرح‌های فرهنگی در تعریف کنش اهمیت زیادی داده است. این جستار با روش «توصیفی‌ـ تحلیلی»، در حد امکان به شرح، توضیح و نقد این مسئله همت گمارده است.
