abstract = {Beauty as one of the man's oldest and most established natural desires and art as the practical manifestation of this desire in man's life are two most important categories which have deep relationship with religion, ethics, and many other domains of man's life. Hence, there is an overwhelming necessity of doing fundamental and applied research on the issue, especially with a domestic and religious look, due to increasingly extensive impact of art on modern man's personal and social life. 
The present paper, which is dedicated to the study of Ayatollah Misbah's views on religious art and committed artist, first mentions his views on art and beauty, their relationships, relationship between them and values, and relativism in art. Then, it seeks to investigate those factors which strengthen "Islamic and religious art. It goes on to deal with symbolism and expressive factors in these arts and finally explores the features of committed artist and makes an assessment of the priorities in the field of art in the religious educational system.

abstract_fa ={زیبایی، به منزلة یکی از ریشه دارترین خواست های فطری آدمی، و هنر، به منزلة نمود عملی خواست زیبایی در ساحت حیات انسان، دو مقولة بسیار مهم اند که با دین، اخلاق و اغلب دیگر ساحت های زندگی آدمی پیوند هایی وثیق دارند. از همین روی، و با نظر به فراگیری روزافزون دامنة تأثیر هنر در زندگی فردی و اجتماعی انسان در روزگار ما، ضرورت پژوهش های بنیادی و کاربردی، به ویژه با نگاهی بومی و دینی در این زمینه دوچندان شده است. 
در این مقاله، که به بررسی اندیشه های آیت الله مصباح در باب هنر دینی و هنرمند متعهد اختصاص یافته، نخست به آرای ایشان در باب هنر و زیبایی و نسبت آن دو و نیز نسبت زیبایی و هنر با ارزش ها و نسبیت در هنر، اشاره می شود. سپس در باب «هنر دینی و هنر اسلامی»، عناصر قوام بخش هنر دینی و اسلامی بررسی می گردد. نماد و بیانگری در این هنرها گام بعدی این پژوهش است، و همچنین ویژگی های هنرمند متعهد، و پس از آن اولویت سنجی در حوزة هنر در نظام آموزشی دینی کاویده شده است.},
