abstract = {Clarifying some dark corners of the formation of social action through it, the school of symbolic interaction tried to draw a new approach contrary to the positivist approach. Emphasizing the central and important point that man is a thinking being and has a semantic system, unlike lower animals, this school tries to present the role of symbols and meanings in redefining the category of consciousness outside the framework of positivism. Therefore, the effort of this school in the framework of its diverse approaches to express the role of symbols and meanings in creating action and analyzing its angles has been done in this direction. One of the achievements of this school is that it was able to introduce rational approaches into sociological literature and direct researchers' attention to individuals and motivations of action. On the other hand, this school has numerous and fundamental weaknesses and breaches that seem to be rooted in the pragmatic and material foundations of this school.},

abstract_fa ={مکتب کنش متقابل نمادین تلاشش بر این بود که رویکرد جدیدی مغایر با رویکرد پوزیتیویستی ترسیم کند؛ تا از رهگذر آن برخی زوایای تاریک شکل گیری کنش اجتماعی را روشن سازد. این مکتب با تأکید بر این نکته مرکزی و مهم که انسان برخلاف جانوران پست تر موجودی متفکر و دارای نظام معنایی است، درصدد برآمد نقش نماد و معانی در باز تعریف مقوله آگاهی در خارج از چارچوب پوزیتیویسم ارائه دهد. لذا تلاش این مکتب در چارچوب رهیافت های متنوع آن برای بیان نقش نمادها و معانی در ایجاد کنش و در تحلیل زوایای آن در همین راستا صورت گرفته است. از جمله رهاوردهای این مکتب اینکه توانست رویکردهای خردبینانه را وارد ادبیات جامعه شناسی کند و توجه محققان را به سمت افراد و انگیزه های کنش معطوف سازد. از سوی دیگر، این مکتب دارای نقاط ضعف و رخنه های متعدد و بنیادینی است که به نظر می رسد ریشه در مبانی پراگماتیستی و مادی این مکتب دارد. از جمله نقدهای وارد بر این مکتب، فقدان تبیین علّی، نپرداختن به ابعاد پنهان کنش، انکارگرایش های فطری، انفعال در برابر اقتضائات جامعه و تقلیل  معرفت به ساحت های اجتماعی است.},
