In Islamic texts, chastity is considered one of the most key components of achieving human happiness. Chastity means controlling oneself and behavior against temptations and is formed by numerous positive and negative components. These components play an important role in the formation of a chaste lifestyle. According to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, chastity is practiced both by promoting and strengthening positive components and by limiting inappropriate behaviors. This article collects data using documentary and library methods and explains the positive components of the chastity system in Islamic teachings with a descriptive-analytical method. The findings show that chastity as a system is a network of related components. These components include wisdom, zeal, timely marriage, management of clothing, and meeting emotional and sexual needs within the family. The way children are raised also plays a vital role in this system, because proper upbringing can make the young generation chaste and responsible individuals. Chastity, as a human value, causes women and men to become active and valuable beings in the context of the family and society. عفت، به عنوان فضیلتی فطری و فراجنسیتی، نه تنها در آموزه‌های اسلامی بلکه در تمامی ادیان یک ارزش انسانی شناخته شده است. در متون اسلامی، عفت یکی از کلیدی‌ترین مؤلفه‌های دستیابی به سعادت انسانی شمرده می‌شود. عفت به معنای کنترل نفس و رفتار در برابر وسوسه‌هاست و به وسیله مولفه‌های ایجابی و سلبی متعددی شکل می‌گیرد.این مؤلفه‌ها نقش مهمی در شکل‌گیری سبک زندگی عفیفانه ایفا می‌کنند. بنا به آموزه‌های قرآن و سنت، عفت هم از طریق ترویج و تقویت مؤلفه‌های مثبت و هم با محدود کردن رفتارهای نامناسب عملی می‌شود. این نوشتار با بهره‌گیری از روش اسنادی و کتابخانه‌ای به گردآوری داده‌ها پرداخته و با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی به تبیین مؤلفه‌های ایجابی نظام عفت در آموزه های اسلامی می‌پردازد.یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که عفت به عنوان یک نظام شبکه‌ای از مؤلفه‌های مرتبط است. این مؤلفه‌ها شامل خردورزی، غیرت‌ورزی، ازدواج به‌هنگام، مدیریت پوشش و تأمین نیازهای عاطفی و جنسی در چارچوب خانواده است. شیوه تربیت فرزندان نیز نقشی حیاتی در این نظام دارد؛ زیرا تربیت درست می‌تواند از نسل جوان افرادی عفیف و مسئول بسازد.عفت به عنوان یک ارزش انسانی، موجب می‌شود که زنان و مردان به موجوداتی فعال و ارزشمند در بستر خانواده و جامعه تبدیل شوند
