It is an interdisciplinary phenomenon that, through complex reciprocal relations, both affects and is affected by economic, security, political, cultural, social, and familial domains. Demographic data indicate that over recent decades the Islamic Republic of Iran has experienced one of the most unprecedented population decline trends in the world. This sharp decline is expected to generate adverse consequences across various levels, particularly in the security dimension. The present study aims, through a descriptive–analytical method and using library, digital, and field sources, to address the following question from the perspective of the evolving concept of human security: what security implications will these demographic changes have for Iran during the period of international transition? The authors’ hypothesis and the research findings suggest that this trend will produce negative effects in multiple areas of security, especially cultural, political, military, and economic security, and that its continuation will expose Iran’s transition toward the emerging international order to serious risks and challenges. «تغییرات جمعیتی» یکی از تعیین‌کننده‌ترین و تأثیرگذارترین مؤلفه‌ها در شکل‌گیری سرنوشت جوامع و دولت‌هاست؛ موضوعی بین‌رشته‌ای که در رابطه‌ای دوسویه و چندسویه، در حوزه‌های مختلف اقتصادی، امنیتی، سیاسی، فرهنگی، اجتماعی، خانوادگی و... تأثیرگذار و از آنها تأثیرپذیر است. «جمعیت‌نگاری‌ها» بیانگر آن است که طی دهه‌های گذشته ج.ا.ایران دارای یکی از بی‌سابقه‌ترین روندهای کاهش جمعیت در جهان بوده است. این کاهش شدید جمعیتی باعث بروز آثار سوئی در عرصه‌ها و سطوح مختلف، به‌ویژه ابعاد امنیتی خواهد شد. هدف نوشتار حاضر آن است که با روشی تحلیلی ـ توصیفی و با استفاده از منابع کتابخانه‌ای، مجازی و میدانی، با محور قرار دادن دیدگاه تحول در مفهوم امنیت انسانی، به این پرسش پاسخ دهد که این تغییرات جمعیتی چه پیامدهای امنیتی برای ایران در دوران گذار بین‌الملل به همراه دارد. فرض نگارنده و یافته‌های پژوهش بیانگر آن است این روند آثار منفی خود را در عرصه‌های مختلف امنیت، به‌ویژه امنیت فرهنگی، سیاسی، نظامی و اقتصادی ایران برجای خواهد گذاشت و تداوم این روند دوران گذار بین‌الملل ایران به سمت نظم نوین را با مخاطرات و چالش‌های جدی‌ مواجه خواهد ساخت. https://marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5001620-1781503820.pdf
