abstract = {Social inequality has various consequences at the individual and societal levels. The existence of some consequences at unusual and unexpected levels confirms the need for its adjustment and control. Various methods have been proposed by researchers and social workers to achieve this goal, the most important of which is cultural adjustment and control. This article attempts to explain the role of culture in reducing and moderating inequality by referring to the system of divine verses identified through the thematic interpretation method, and to answer the question of how inequality can be moderated through cultural changes. The findings of this study indicate that from the perspective of the Holy Quran, there is a significant relationship between the cultural status of society and social inequalities, and a significant portion of these inequalities are rooted in culture, and as a rule, their adjustment is not possible except through cultural reform. 
For example, changing the criterion of social status from mere attention to material and tangible categories to spiritual and intellectual values and possessions, which leads to the denial of giving primacy to material things, keeping up with the Joneses, ostentatious displays, boasting and extravagance, disregard for the desires and expectations of the lower classes, etc., can be part of this ideal.

abstract_fa ={نابرابری اجتماعی پیامدهای مختلفی در سطوح فردی و اجتماعی دارد. وجود برخی پیامدها در سطوح غیرعادی و غیرمنتظره، ضرورت تعدیل و کنترل آن را مسجل می‌سازد. شیوه‌های مختلفی برای تحقق این منظور توسط پژوهشگران و کارگزاران اجتماعی پیشنهاد شده است که تعدیل و کنترل فرهنگی، مهم‌ترین آنهاست. این نوشتار سعی دارد تا با ارجاع به منظومة آیات الهی که با روش تفسیر موضوعی شناسایی شده، نقش فرهنگ را در کاهش و تعدیل نابرابری توضیح دهد و به این سؤال که چگونه می‌توان از مسیر تغییرات فرهنگی، نابرابری را تعدیل کرد، پاسخ گوید. یافته‌های این مطالعه حکایت از آن دارد که از منظر قرآن کریم رابطة معنی‌داری میان وضعیت فرهنگی جامعه و نابرابری‌های اجتماعی وجود دارد و بخش قابل‌توجهی از این نابرابری‌ها ریشه در فرهنگ دارد و قاعدتاً تعدیل آن نیز جز از طریق اصلاح فرهنگ ممکن نیست. برای نمونه، تغییر ملاک منزلت اجتماعی از التفات صرف به مقولات مادی و محسوس به ارزش‌ها و داشته‌های معنوی و عقلانی که به نفی اصالت‌دهی به مادیات، چشم‌و‌هم‌چشمی، جلوه‌نمایی‌های متظاهرانه، تفاخر و تکاثر، بی‌اعتنایی به خواسته‌ها و انتظارات اقشار فرودست و... منتهی می‌شود، می‌توان به بخشی از این آرمان وصول یافت.},
