The author seeks to answer this question: why are there differences between the sexes based on philosophical and mystical ontology. The relationship of love and force is one of the branches of the mystical principle of divine beauty and glory, and its application in explaining the differences between the sexes is one of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli’s innovations. Using the descriptive-analytical method, this article analyzes and classifies his theory and states the differences between his interpretation of the principle of the ontological role of the divine names of beauty and glory and the interpretation of the ancient mystics. It shows that according to the theory of love and force, the system of existence has emerged from the interaction of the two factors of love and force. Love and force are both necessary in existence and perfection, and their interaction is in line with the complementarity of man. According to the idea of complementarity, love and force are not opposites; rather, love serves force and force serves love. However, in the world of existence, the ultimate rule and sovereignty belongs to love. Also, the differences in the perceptual and moral systems of the two sexes become meaningful according to this principle. هدف از این مقاله بررسی نظریة تعامل مهر و قهر در آثار آیت‌الله جوادی آملی و کاربست آن در روابط دو جنس در راستای پاسخ به مسئلة چرایی تفاوت‌های دو جنس بر اساس هستی‌شناسی فلسفی و عرفانی است. مسئلة رابطة مهر و قهر جزو فروعات اصل عرفانی جمال و جلال الهی است که به‌کارگیری آن در توضیح مسئلة تفاوت‌های دو جنس جزو ابتکارات ایشان است. در این مقاله با روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی پس از تحلیل و طبقه‌بندی نظریة ایشان و بیان تفاوت‌های تقریر ایشان از اصل نقش هستی‌شناختی اسما جمالی و جلالی الهی، نسبت به تقریر عرفای قدیم، نشان داده شده است که طبق نظریة مهر و قهر نظام هستی از تعامل دو عامل مهر و قهر پدید آمده است. مهر و قهر هر دو در هستی و کمال ضروری و بایسته‌اند و تعامل آنها در راستای مکملیت انسان است. طبق ایدة مکملیت، مهر و قهر در برابر و مقابل هم نیستند؛ بلکه مهر در خدمت قهر و قهر در خدمت مهر است. اما در عریکة هستی، فرمانروایی و حاکمیت نهایی از آن مهر است. همچنین تفاوت‌های نظام ادراکی و اخلاقی دو جنس، طبق این اصل معنادار می‌شود. https://marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5000900-1741418215.pdf
