Regarding the increasing trend of body consumption in Iran, this article seeks to offer a comparative account of what "should be" in the field of body with an Islamic view and what "happens" to the body with a liberal view. It explicitly or implicitly demonstrates the cultural movement of society in the context of the "body". To this end, using library –based method and referring to the texts and focal and central views that represent and include the views of Islam and liberalism in the discussion of the "body", valid evidence is gathered, analyzed and categorized in ontological, axiological, cognitive, semantic, eschatological, semantic and body use axes. The central finding in this study is the objectification and mechanization of the body in Western liberalism and its being a trust in Islamic thought. Each view creates a different course and ending for the body. «مصرف بدن»، یکی از حوزه های مطالعاتی و نسبتاً انتقادی در حوزه‌ی جامعه شناسی و مطالعات فرهنگی بدن است که رفتار انسان با بدن و معناهایی که در این کنش اجتماعی جُسته می شود، بررسی نموده و آن را به نقد و تحلیل می کشد. این مقاله در پی آن است تا با توجه به روند رو به رشد مصرف بدن در ایران، خوانشی تطبیقی از آنچه در حوزه‌ی بدن با نگاه اسلامی «باید باشد» و آنچه را در این حوزه، با نگاه لیبرالیستی برای بدن «اتفاق می افتد»، بررسی نموده و سیر حرکت فرهنگی جامعه در بستر «بدن» را تصریحاً یا تلویحاً به نمایش گذارد. در این راستا، با روش کتابخانه ای و مراجعه به متون و دیدگاه های کانونی و محوری که نمایانگر و دربرگیرنده دیدگاه های اسلام و لیبرالیسم در بحث «بدن» هستند، شواهد معتبری گردآوری و تحلیل و برای تطبیق، در محورهای هستی شناسانه، ارزش شناختی، معناشناختی / غایت شناختی و روش کارگیری بدن دسته بندی شد. یافته محوری در این مطالعه، شیء انگاری و ماشین نگری لیبرالیسم غربی نسبت به بدن و امانت انگاری آن، در تفکر اسلامی است که سیری متفاوت و پایانی مختلف برای بدن در هر دیدگاه رقم می زند. https://marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/3_37.pdf
