The issue of social man has a sociological context. Answering the question of man’s quiddity requires philosophical exploration and reviewing it from an Islamic perspective necessitates the Qur'anic and narrative considerations. The "method of conceptual interpretation", with its philosophical roots, its Qur'anic application and sociological background, has been proposed for the study of social man. The method of conceptual interpretation has two basic steps: refinement and inference. In the stage of refinement, the presuppositions, incorrect assumptions and incomplete foundations of the existing philosophical and sociological approaches are evaluated, and in the inference step, the Islamic perception of man is extracted. این مقاله درصدد است روش مطالعه‌ی انسان اجتماعی در اسلام را با در نظرداشت سه ساحت علمی جامعه شناسی، فلسفی و تفسیری پیشنهاد کند. موضوع انسان اجتماعی سیاق جامعه شناختی دارد و پاسخ به پرسش چیستی انسان، کاوش فلسفی را می طلبد و بازخوانی آن از منظر اسلامی، ملاحظات قرآنی و روایی را ناگزیر می نماید. «روش تأویل مفهومی» که هم ریشه‌ی فلسفی دارد و هم کاربرد قرآنی و هم پیشینه‌ی جامعه شناختی، برای مطالعه‌ی انسان اجتماعی پیشنهاد شده است. روش تأویل مفهومی، دو گام اساسی دارد: پالایش و استنباط. در گام پالایش، پیش فرض ها، مسلمات ناصواب و مبادی ناقص رویکردهای فلسفی و جامعه شناختی موجود ارزیابی می گردد و در گام استنباط، برداشت اسلامی از انسان استخراج می شود.  https://marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/1_32.pdf
