abstract = {Beliefs are part of the functional phenomena that affect the lives of social activists. The doctrine of "waiting" is one of the beliefs that has function which helps to revitalize religion and religious community by the various roles its plays. Explaining the functions of this doctrine from the perspective of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei as a religious thinker who himself plays an active role as the greatest leader of the Islamic society on the basis of this doctrine, is of high importance. The author tries in this study to expound the social functions of the doctrine of ‘’waiting’’ from the perspective of the Supreme Leader using a descriptive - analytical method documentary library - based method. The findings show that regarding his view about the function of the doctrine of ‘’waiting’’, Ayatollah Khamenei mentions a number of elements as the social functions of waiting including: the function of hope, the possibility and necessity of combating oppression, preparing the ground for change, dissatisfaction with the current situation, progress exercising supervision.

abstract_fa ={باورها و اعتقادات، از جمله پدیده های کارکردی هستند که بر زندگی کنشگران اجتماعی تأثیر می گذارند. آموزه‌ی «انتظار» از جمله باورهای دارای کارکرد است که از طریق ایفای نقش های گوناگون به بازتولید و استمرار حیات دین و جامعه دینی کمک می کند. تبیین کارکردهای این آموزه از منظر آیت الله العظمی خامنه ای به عنوان اندیشمندنی دینی که خود بر اساس همین آموزه در بالاترین سطح رهبری جامعه اسلامی به ایفای کنشگری فعال مشغول اند، از اهمیت بسیاری برخوردار است. مؤلف در این نوشتار کوشیده تا به بررسی و تحلیل کارکردهای اجتماعی آموزه انتظار از منظر مقام معظم رهبری بپردازد. روش پژوهش، توصیفی و تحلیلی با استفاده از روش اسنادی و کتابخانه ای است. یافته ها حاکی از این است که آیت الله خامنه ای ضمن کارکردی دیدن آموزه‌ی «انتظار»، به عناصر ذیل به عنوان کارکردهای اجتماعی انتظار اشاره نموده اند: کارکرد امیدآفرینی، امکان پذیری و ضرورت مبارزه با ظلم، ایجاد آمادگی برای تغییر، عدم رضایت از وضعیت موجود، عاملیت پیشرفت و نظارت پذیری.},
