Most conceptions, when it came to popular culture, gradually acclimated to an indigenous conception of it, and at the same time a place for it in the administrative system was defined, but at the elite level these perceptions have sometimes been the source of conflict. This article, which is mainly descriptive, deals with six concepts of culture in Iran: public and modern education, human achievements, cultural heritage, art, Islam and Western culture, and describes each. Finally, these six views have been evaluated and, with some evidence, two recent views of culture have been introduced as the main and influential ones in today's Iran. فرهنگ در معنای مدرن خود، به تدریج به ایران وارد گردید و همراه با تغییراتی که این اصطلاح در غرب پیدا کرد، تلقی های مختلفی از آن نیز در ایران رایج شد. بیشتر تلقی ها، آن گاه که به فرهنگ عمومی رسید، به تدریج و در یک برداشت بومی از آن، به صورت انباشتی با هم سازگاری یافت و همزمان با آن در نظام اداری نیز جایگاهی برای آن تعریف گردید، اما در سطح نخبگانی این تلقی ها گاه منشأ نزاع هایی شده است. در این مقاله که روش آن عمدتاً توصیفی است، به شش تلقی از فرهنگ در ایران که عبارتند از: آموزش های عمومی و مدرن، مجموعه دستاوردهای بشری، میراث فرهنگی، هنر، اسلام و فرهنگ غربی، پرداخته شده و ضمن توصیف هر یک، در نهایت شش تلقی مذکور ارزیابی شده و به کمک برخی شواهد، دو تلقی اخیر از فرهنگ، به مثابه تلقی های اصلی و اثرگذار در ایران امروز معرفی شده اند. https://marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/2_30.pdf
