This study examines the historical evidence of the role of the West in reducing the scientific communications of Islamic civilization by reducing its texts. Therefore, using the analytical- historical research method and by note taking and library-based and documentary method, the present research investigates the historical evidence of the role of the West in reducing the scientific communications of Islamic civilization by reducing its texts and limiting access to the scientific sources of Muslim scholars. Findings of the research indicate that by plundering and transferring Islamic works, the West restricted access to Islamic civilization sources and texts, and destroyed them, and this led to irreparable damages and reduced the level of scientific communication in the Islamic world. در قرون گذشته و پیش از پدید آمدن رسانه های نوین ارتباطاتی، مهم ترین راه حفظ و تبادل اطلاعات و علوم، خط و کتابت بوده است. این پژوهش، به بررسی شواهد تاریخی نقش غرب در کاهش ارتباطات علمی تمدن اسلامی با کاهش متون آن می پردازد. ازاین رو، در این پژوهش تلاش شده تا از طریق روش تحقیق تاریخی ـ تحلیلی و با فیش برداری داده های آن، با روش کتابخانه ای و اسنادی، شواهد تاریخی نقش غرب در کاهش ارتباطات علمی تمدن اسلامی با کاهش متون آن در ایجاد محدودیت و یا از دسترس خارج شدن منابع علمی دانشمندان مسلمان بررسی گردد. یافته های پژوهش حاکی از این است که غربی ها با تاراج و انتقال آثار اسلامی، موجب محدود شدن دسترسی به منابع و متون تمدن اسلامی یا از بین رفتن و از دسترس خارج شدن آنها گردیدند. این موضوع آثار جبران ناپذیری در کاهش سطح ارتباطات علمی جهان اسلام برجای گذاشت. https://marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5_26.pdf
