In many cases, this form of city has no congruity with the cultural, religious, and social environment of the city. extraction of the features and investigation of the extent and feasibility of the realization of the features of the Islamic city have always attracted the attention of researchers, and have been one of the major concerns in the field of urban planning and architecture. The purpose of this research is to extract and review the features proposed in the context of the Islamic city. In order to provide a general understanding of the concept of "Islamic city" in this framework, this research has reviewed the related sources and extracted the most important features of the “Islamic city” in the form of five elements. Then, these features have been reviewed and the most important ones that can be implemented in the existing conditions have been extracted. امروزه سیمای عمومی شهر در شمال، جنوب، شرق، غرب و در آداب و رسوم متنوع، مشابه یکدیگر است. در بسیاری از موارد، این شکل از شهر هیچ سنخیتی با محیط فرهنگی، مذهبی و اجتماعی شهر ندارد. استخراج شاخص ها و بررسی میزان و امکان تحقق ویژگی های شهر اسلامی، با توجه به شرایط موجود، همواره یکی از دغدغه های مهم در زمینه‌ی شهرسازی و معماری بوده است که توجه محققان را به خود جلب نموده است. هدف این پژوهش، استخراج و نقد شاخص های مطرح شده در زمینه شهر اسلامی است. در این تحقیق با مطالعه منابع به صورت مروری، مهم ترین شاخص های مطرح شده در زمینه شهر اسلامی، در قالب عناصر پنج گانه استخراج شده است تا با این وسیله فهم کلی از مفهوم «شهر اسلامی» در این چارچوب شکل گیرد. سپس، این شاخص ها مورد نقد و بررسی قرار گرفته و مهم ترین و اولویت دارترین شاخص ها که قابلیت پیاده سازی متناسب با شرایط موجود را دارا می باشند، استخراج شده است. https://marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5_23.pdf
