Given the pervasiveness of the media of cinema and its impact on the audience, producing a true representation of women’s role in the cinema of Sacred Defense is of great importance in filling the existing gaps. Reviewing the theoretical foundations of representation and qualitative analysis, the present paper examines the actual role of women in the war and the way they are represented in the Sacred Defense cinema. The main question of this paper is to what extent the representation of women in the Sacred Defense cinema reflects the reality of women's presence in the war and their influential role. The findings show that women have not been fairly represented in three areas: their activity behind the front, their presence in the battlefield and their postwar activities. In some other areas, women have not been represented as having an active role, but the representation seems to be prosaic and clichéd. زنان حدود نیمی از جمعیت کشور را تشکیل می دهند و در همة حوادث مهم کشور، بخصوص جنگ تحمیلی سهم بسزایی داشته اند. با توجه به همه گیر بودن رسانة سینما و تأثیر آن بر مخاطبان، بازنمایی نقش زن در سینمای دفاع مقدس بر اساس واقعیت، اهمیت بسیاری در رفع خلاءهای موجود دارد. این مقاله ضمن بیان مبانی نظری بازنمایی، به بررسی حضور واقعی زن در جنگ پرداخته، با بهره گیری از روش تحلیل کیفی، چگونگی بازنمایی حضور زنان، در سینمایی دفاع مقدس را مورد کنکاش قرار داده است. سؤال اصلی پژوهش این است که بازنمایی نقش زن در سینمای دفاع مقدس تا چه میزان به واقعیت حضور زن در دفاع مقدس و نقش وی به عنوان کنش گر اصیل توجه داشته است؟ یافته ها حاکی از آن است که بازنمایی در سه عرصه : فعالیت زنان در پشت جبهه، حضور در میدان نبرد و نیز نقش زنان پس از جنگ به صورت کامل انجام نشده و در برخی عرصه ها، زن به عنوان کنش گر اصیل نه تنها بازنمایی نشده، بلکه بیشتر به سمت کلیشه سازی و طبیعی سازی سوق پیدا کرده است. https://marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5_6.pdf
