Among these approaches are the monotheistic approach used in Islamic tradition and the interpretive approach used in the new Western social sciences. Examining the creative and descriptive views about social conventionalities presented by Allamah Tabatabai, a monotheistic philosopher, and the interpretive approach of Pitter Vinch, this research seeks to make explicit the way conventionalities are viewed by each of these two approaches and the similarities and diffrences between their approaches. A study of the methodological principles of these two philosophers, an analysis of their approaches to social conventionalities and a comparison between them show that, when we consider the ontological, epistemological and anthropological principles of these two thinkers, we notice that there are deep differences between them, represented in the fundamental attention given to the nature and natural perfection in Allameh Tabatabaei’s discussion about conventionalities, and in the verbal games of Vinch and the relativism adopted by him. اعتباریات و نقش آن در زندگی اجتماعی انسان مورد مطالعه رویکردهای گوناگون حوزة علوم انسانی و اجتماعی واقع شده است. رویکرد توحیدی سنت اسلامی و رویکرد تفسیری در علوم اجتماعی نوین غربی، از جمله این رویکردهاست. این پژوهش، با بررسی نظرات ابتکاری و تفصیلی علامه طباطبائی در اعتباریات اجتماعی، به عنوان حکیمی توحیدگرا و رویکرد تفسیرگرایانه پیتر وینچ، به دنبال شناخت کیفیت توجه به اعتباریات در این دو رویکرد و وجوه تشابه و تمایز آن می باشد. مطالعه مبانی روش شناختی این دو اندیشمند، واکاوی رویکرد ایشان به اعتباریات اجتماعی و مقایسه آن با یکدیگر، این نتیجه به دست می آید که با توجه به مبانی و مبادی هستی شناسی، معرفت شناسی و انسان شناسی این دو متفکر، می توان تفاوت های عمیقی از قبیل توجه مبنایی به فطرت و کمال فطری در بحث اعتباریات علامه طباطبائی، در مقابل بازی های زبانی وینچ و نسبی گرایی مورد نظر وی، مطرح کرد. https://marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/3_4.pdf
