abstract = {Muslim scholars have studied the social problems and phenomena of their communities through various approaches and methods. This paper seeks to investigate the features and qualities of these approaches and their inter-relationships between them under the name of Muslims’ sociology. The revelatory approach in the lifetime of the Prophet, the traditional, hadith-based, interpretive, jurisprudential, philosophical, theological, mystical, reportage concerning two subjects: history and monographs (itinerary) and oratorical approach in the form of a book of politics, a book of principles of chivalry, a book of Sharia are used for explanation, interpretation, criticism and prescription in the field of sociology or propagation on a social scale. These approaches have different capacities and use various methods. However, they interact and they have relationship with one another in a coherently classified system and so they constitute one specific discipline.

abstract_fa ={متفکران مسلمان مسائل و پدیده های اجتماعی جوامع خود را با رویکردها و روش های گوناگونی مورد مطالعه قرار می دهند. این مقاله، با روش تحلیلی ویژگی و ظرفیت  این رویکردها و ارتباط آنها با یکدیگر را تحت عنوان «علم اجتماعی مسلمین» مورد بررسی قرار می دهد. رویکرد وحیانی در عصر حضور پیامبرˆ، رویکردهای نقلی، حدیثی، تفسیری، فقهی، فلسفی، کلامی، عرفانی، گزارشگری در دو قلمرو تاریخی و تک نگاری (سفرنامه) و رویکرد خطابی در قالب سیاست نامه ها، فتوت نامه ها و شریعت نامه ها، در تبیین، تفسیر، انتقاد و تجویز در حوزه علم اجتماعی یا ترویج در عرصه اجتماع به کار گرفته شده است. رویکردهای فوق، هرچند از ظرفیت های متفاوتی برخوردار بوده و از روش های متفاوتی بهره می برند، اما در یک نظام طبقه بندی منسجم، با یکدیگر در تعامل و ارتباط بوده و علم واحدی به شمار می آیند.},
