abstract = {Muslims’ sociology is a series set of systematic and methodical thoughts and ideas about social questions intended to satisfy man's needs and bring to him happiness and perfection. Earnest scientific endeavor should be made to investigate the identity and nature of Muslims’ sociology and its difference from other types of sociology, especially modern sociology. This study constitutes a step on the way to achieve this goal. The questions about Muslims’ sociology are based on Islamic principles and have special concepts, themes and issues which have lent it a true identity with a long history. Among the features of Islamic sociology are: ultra-historical identity, capacity for generalization, dependence on the principles of Islam, especially monotheism in ontology, critical realism based on revelation, reason and sense in epistemology, idealism and having a hierarchical approach to existence and social world.

abstract_fa ={«علم اجتماعی مسلمین»، مجموعه ای از اندیشه ها و تفکرات نظام وار و روشمند در حوزه موضوعات و مسائل اجتماعی برای رفع نیازها و رسیدن به سعادت و کمال انسانی است. در چیستی و هویت علم اجتماعی مسلمین، و نیز تمایز آن از علوم اجتماعی، به ویژه جامعه شناسی مدرن تلاش علمی شایسته ای لازم است که این مقاله گامی در این مسیر است. نوع مسائل علم اجتماعی مسلمین، مبتنی بر بنیادهای اسلامی و دارای مفاهیم، موضوعات و مسائلی خاصی است که به آن هویتی ممتاز با پیشینه‌ی طولانی داده است. این علم دارای ویژگی هایی نظیر هویت فراتاریخی، و بهره مندی از ظرفیت تعمیم یافتگی، ابتناء بر اصول و بنیادهای اسلامی، به ویژه توحیدگرایی در هستی شناسی و حقیقت گرایی انتقادی بر حسب وحی، عقل و حس در معرفت شناسی، آرمان گرایی و داشتن رویکرد هرمی به هستی و جهان اجتماعی، برخی از مهم ترین ویژگی های آن است.},
