abstract = {In this survey 339 pre-university students were chosen from the city of Shiraz to examine the effect of parents' economic-social status on the level and aspects of the piety of their children.
The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were measured by face validity and Cronbach's alpha (0.71). The analysis of the findings shows that the respondents differ in the extent of their piety regarding the aspects of religious beliefs, faith, morality, worship and religious obligations. There is a meaningful relationship between parents' educational standard and their children's piety. When parents' income rises, the level of their children's piety falls. The kind of piety of children differs according to the different socio-economic status of their parents. In other words, at every level of socio-economic status, a particular aspect of piety is dominant; the higher the parents' socio-economic status, the lower the level of children’s piety.

abstract_fa ={این پژوهش با هدف بررسی چگونگی تأثیر پایگاه اقتصادی- ‎اجتماعی والدین بر میزان و ابعاد دین داری فرزندان تدوین، و در آن از روش پیمایش، با جمعیت نمونه 339 نفری از میان دانش‎آموزانِ مقطع پیش‎دانشگاهی شهر شیراز استفاده شده است. روایی و پایایی پرسش‎نامه توسط اعتبار‎ صوری و آلفای ‎کرونباخ (71/0) مورد سنجش قرار گرفته است. تحلیل و بررسی یافته‎ها نشان می دهد که میزان‎ دینداری پاسخ گویان در ابعاد مختلف اعتقادی، ایمانی، اخلاقی، عبادی و تکلیفی متمایز است. میان تحصیلات والدین و میزان دینداری فرزندان رابطه‌ی معناداری وجود دارد. با افزایش درآمد والدین، میزان دینداری فرزندان کاهش می یابد. نوع دینداری فرزندان در پایگاه های اقتصادی-‎ اجتماعی مختلف والدین، متمایز است؛ به این معنا که در هر سطح از پایگاه اقتصادی- اجتماعی، بُعد خاصی از دینداری حاکم است؛ با افزایش پایگاه اقتصادی- اجتماعی والدین، میزان دینداری فرزندان نیز کاهش می یابد.},
