The present paper discusses the development process of some of these family norms Allamah Tabatabaii’s views. A content analysis method is used in this research. Establishing the functions of Islamic family norms is among the most important research findings which confirm that these norms contribute to the formation of harmonious relations between wife and husband and to the clarity of genealogy. The ruling of limiting a woman to be married to no more than one man does not mean that the woman is owned by the man and is not a testimony for viewing polygamy as an unusual act. Besides, the husband's being duty bound to provide for his wife is not based on the idea of her inability to earn a living nor it is meant to humiliate her. The husband’s supervising his wife’s interactions and the authority he has in this regard is referred to in the marriage contract, without which the contract is terminated, and the clarity of genealogy and identifying the blood relationship of a specific man with a specific child and other society members will not be accessible. در پی تعرض به احکام اسلامی زنان و خانواده، علّامه طباطبائی این هنجارها را تبیین کرد. این مقاله فرایند پیدایش بخشی از هنجارهای خانواده را طبق دیدگاه علّامه مطرح می کند. روش کار، تحلیل متن است. مهم ترین یافته‌ی پژوهش حاضر اثبات کارکردهای هنجارهای اسلامی خانواده است، که نشان می دهد هنجارهای اسلامی خانواده، سبب شکل دادن به مبادله‌ی برابر بین بانو و شوهر و ایجاد شفافیت نسب است. اختصاصی شدن رابطه‌ی جنسی یک زن به یک مرد، تملک زن توسط مرد نیست و مستلزم نابهنجار تلقی کردن تعدد زوجات به طور عام نخواهد بود و تکفل نفقه‌ی بانو توسط شوهر بر اساس ناتوانی زن در تأمین معاش نیست؛ تحقیر زن نیز نیست. نظارت شوهر بر تعاملات بانو و اقتدار شوهر در این امر از مفاد قرارداد نکاح است و بدون آن نقض غرض خواهد شد و شفافیت نسب و احرازپدری یک مرد مشخص بر فرزندان معین نزد او و همه‌ی اعضا اجتماع حاصل نمی شود. https://marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/2004052.pdf
