Its inefficiency is ascribed to its cultural basis. Functionalism is the outcome of modern science and has taken a form which makes it consistent with the utilitarian culture of the bourgeoisie in the United States and it is sought, From the outset, to satisfy the needs of the bourgeoisie. This theoretical approach has its own ontological, epistemological, anthropological and methodological presuppositions. Because these presuppositions do not correspond to the culture of Islamic society, it is impossible for this type of functionalism to properly explain the issues of this type of society without making the cultural structure of that society go in line with it and converting its identity. این مقاله تلاشی است برای احراز ناکارآمدی نظریة کارکردگرایی به مثابه یکی از نظریات رایج در جامعه شناسی. راز ناکارآمدی نظریة کارکردگرایی به ریشه های فرهنگی آن بر می گردد. کارکردگرایی محصول علم مدرن بوده و متناسب با فرهنگ سودمندگرایی طبقة بورژوا در آمریکا شکل گرفته و در ابتدا تأمین کننده منافع آن طبقه بوده است. این رویکرد نظری دارای پیش فرض های هستی شناسی، معرفت شناسی، انسان شناسی و روش شناسی مختص به خود است. به دلیل تغایر این پیش فرض ها با فرهنگ جامعه اسلامی، کارکردگرایی معهود نمی تواند مسایل این سنخ جوامع را به خوبی تبیین نماید، مگر اینکه بنیان های فرهنگی آن جوامع را با خود همسو نماید و آن را بومی سازد. https://marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatefarhangi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5_11.pdf
